However, part of what you have to remember is that your body is also building some great muscles from the running and that the muscle weight is heavier. Just keep on doing what you have been doing - you will push past it. Unfortunately, sometimes it just takes time! I greatly regret that I didn't take measurements when I started, but I think I'm going to take them tomorrow so I can track them from here on out.Maiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00299856527480587335noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4626041959313212356.post-89112480564990783402011-01-13T21:23:11.366-05:002011-01-13T21:23:11.366-05:00Maia, you're doing so great! When I lost 24 pounds two years ago, I hit a plateau - instead of pushing through it, I got discouraged, gave up my healthy habits, and slowly the weight came back on. You CAN and you WILL push past this plateau! But I certainly understand feeling like you still have so far left to go and being frustrated with the number on the scale. Hang in there, girl!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09165425287089202800noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4626041959313212356.post-75921588090464905122011-01-13T21:04:20.890-05:002011-01-13T21:04:20.890-05:00I am very impressed with your running, Maia, so yo...I am very impressed with your running, Maia, so you should definitely see that as an accomplishment. I have been running for about 5 years now, and I remember how hard it was at first, despite the fact that I had been studying dance pretty much my entire life...props to you for sticking with it! You should be very proud of yourself for that!Lara Sedlaczeknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4626041959313212356.post-47543502576244659042011-01-13T20:40:42.930-05:002011-01-13T20:40:42.930-05:00I know you can get to 200, or even 170! They are a natural, albeit frustrating part of the process. When I lost weight, I lost 20 pounds at first, and then plateaued for about a year before losing the rest.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16972430231083746352noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4626041959313212356.post-66653624453186660062011-01-13T20:15:55.885-05:002011-01-13T20:15:55.885-05:00oh...plateau's...sigh, been there and still do...oh...plateau's...sigh, been there and still doing that.
